Peak Broadcasting files for bankruptcy

Peak Broadcasting, which operates six radio stations in Boise, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.  According to reports in the Idaho Statesman, the Fresno, CA-based company will continue to operate its six stations in Boise and five in Fresno, and that programming would not be affected and [...]

After Appeal, Journal Can Pick Up KNIN

Reversing an earlier decision, the Federal Communications Commission has approved the sale of KNIN Channel 9 from Banks Broadcasting to Journal Broadcast Group, effectively allowing for a merger of KNIN with KIVI Channel 6.
