Today, the agency formerly known as Foerstel Design revealed their new name and identity: Foerstel+Piper+Martin.

Led by Co-CEOs Laura Martin and Claudia Piper, Foerstel+Piper+Martin is “a colorful mix of creative visionaries, explorers, and strategists! When the sun’s up, we’re crafting brilliance for our amazing clients, hustling to make their brands the next big thing.”

Job opening: Art Director

Foerstel Design is looking to add an Art Director to their team. From the job listing on their website:

We are looking to add an art director to our tribe who has bushels of positive energy and a minimum 10 years of design/production experience. What you’ll do

  • Package design for retail and foodservice, from early concepting to production
  • Brand architecture, including but not limited to, establishing foundational elements, logo design, and collateral development

  • Participate in new business development efforts

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 10 years design experience in an agency or design studio
  • Package design experience is highly preferred but not mandatory
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design skills
  • Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An optimistic, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to embrace design as a discipline of co-creation

Foerstel Design in Boise is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer. From the job description posted on LinkedIn:

Job description
Only those candidates with experience in the exploration, design and development of brand identity and package design for the consumer product industry will be considered. Food product packaging, specifically organic and natural, is a plus.

You will work directly with Creative Directors and Account Executives.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent illustration and Photoshop skills
  • Above-average writing and grammar skills
  • Working knowledge of FDA and USDA Organic regulations/guidelines for package design
