  1. Just to clarify the Legends of Advertising comment, important to note that all 4 Idaho schools that participate in the regional NSAC event receive funds from the proceeds of the tourney. Those funds go a long way toward helping these students travel and compete. Idaho State University and BYU-Idaho compete every year, along with BSU and UI, and have historically done quite well. Also important to note, Idaho has the most student ad teams/schools (4) of any state in our AAF District (XI), which we can all be proud of. In addition, students and their advisors from ISU and BYU-I typically travel over and help with the Legends tourney, and have an opportunuity to go on agency tours in the Boise market, set up by the Idaho Advertising Federation Board of Directors and the various ad clubs in the state (Local active ad clubs exist in Boise, Lewiston, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Idaho Falls).

Thanks for noting that it’s not just BSU and UI, but much broader than than that in many regards, including the talent pool of both interns and graduates throughout the 4 universities entering our fun and challenging industry each year. Best…

    1. Rick – thanks for correcting me on the schools that benefit, and for giving some additional insight into just how each of the schools are involved, and how they benefit from this event.

Somebody has to keep me honest!
