Job Opening: Independent Corporate Support Representative

Boise State Public Radio has an opening for an Independent Corporate Support Representative, who will work with the Treasure Valley and McCall business communities to secure financial support for Boise State Public Radio programs, special events, challenge grants and local program production.

This is a commission-based position that will report to the Corporate Support Manager.

The Rep will develop and maintain sales accounts, including targeting markets, initiating sales calls, sales appointments, presentations, prospecting, proposals, closing the sales and customer relations. Commission is paid on collected revenues.

Minimum experience required is two years in direct (non-retail) sales, with media sales preferred, and strong communication skills in writing correspondence and making presentations to individuals and groups. Knowledge of public broadcasting a plus.
