2013 Rockies – Venetian Masquerade Ball

The 2013 Rockie Awards are coming up on Saturday, April 20th. This year’s theme – Venetian Masquerade Ball – will accompany a change in both format and venue.

The show will be held at the Linen Building at 14th and Grove in downtown Boise. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., announcements start at 8:00, and the gallery will be open from 7:30 – midnight. The show will also include performances from DJ Dangerous Dave, Anti-Magic and the Red Light Variety Show. Tickets and more information are available through the Boise Advertising Federation. SOLD OUT — Second Annual Tour de Smashed

The Boise Advertising Federation is hosting the second annual Tour de Smashed on Thursday, March 14th from 5:30 – 9:00. As with last year’s event, the Tour will make stops at a variety of different shops.

This year’s list includes:

The Tour begins on the 4th floor of 913 W. River St at Stoltz Marketing Group, and ends in the same building, on the second floor at Wirestone. Ample parking is available.

Cost is $15 and includes drinks (read: beer) on the bus. Additional details are below.

Paul Matthaeus, founder, chief creative officer Digital Kitchen®

After spending 15 years in the ad agency business, Paul Matthaeus founded Digital Kitchen® in 1995 with the mission to apply entertainment principles to brands–and in turn–branding principles to entertainment. With training in photography, filmmaking and advertising and marketing communications–Matthaeus aimed to advance broader experimentation and creativity in full-motion electronic media (digital filmmaking), leveraged with an uncommon faculty for strategic marketing.
