Stoltz Marketing Group has added to their staff with two new hires:

First, Sydney Sallabanks has joined the agency as Public Relations Director to lead the agency’s strategic communications and public relations practice. with two decades of public relations experience, Sydney has particular expertise in media relations, crisis mitigation, public affairs, strategic communications, campaigns and signature events.

Prior to joining Stoltz Marketing Group, she was most recently was principal at Gallatin Public Affairs, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans and managing media relations for a diverse group of clients including the University of Idaho, Friedman Memorial Airport and Idaho Public Television. Before Gallatin, she was director of communications at University of Idaho, Boise where she served as regional press secretary to the university president and managed internal and external communications.   She is president of the Idaho delegation of the Public Relations Society of America and a board member and lobbyist of the Idaho Press Club.  She is a longstanding volunteer with local charitable organizations including Junior League Boise and Big Brother/Big Sister. A graduate of Leadership Boise, Sydney has also been honored as “Woman of the Year” by the Idaho Business Review and recognized as one of Boise’s “Accomplished Under 40.” She is a graduate of the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism.

The second new hire or note is, well…me.

No, this is not some belated April Fool’s Day joke.

I’ve joined Stoltz Marketing Group as Interactive Services Manager.  I’ll be working with a variety of key accounts, and will be involved with a number of client and agency initiatives in the online space.  Long-time readers of the Idaho Ad Agencies blog are familiar with my past experience and history, so I’ll spare you the details here.

But fear not, dear readers — the Idaho Ad Agencies blog will continue much as it has in the past.  Like the industry, it has evolved over time, and will continue to do so into the future.
