Gem Advertising Awards Banquet

The Idaho Falls Advertising Federation is presenting the 2011 Gem Awards Advertising Banquet on Thursday, February 2nd at the Elk’s Club Lodge in Idaho Falls.

Idaho Falls Advertising Federation 2011 Gem Awards BanquetThe Casablanca-inspired banquet kicks off with a social mixer at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7:00 with the awards ceremony following soon after.

Tickets for the event are $40 per person, $70 per couple or $195 for a table of six.

IFAF Event: November Lunch & Learn

The November Lunch & Learn event from the Idaho Falls Advertising Federation is a panel discussion on “How to Write a Great Press Release and Get it Published.”  It offers an informative examination of techniques you can use to maximize the effectiveness of your press release and attract genuine community interest.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Brad Hudson of Red Inc. and will feature:

Kortny Rolston, Communications Specialist, Center for Advanced Energy Studies.
Jeff Robinson, City Editor, Post Register.
Leonard Martin, Publisher, Blackfoot Morning News.
Neal Larson, Talk Show Host and News Director, Rich Broadcasting.
Todd Kunz, Eyewitness News Anchor, KIDK.
Ward Hicks, Faculty, Department of Communication, BYU-Idaho.

This event is scheduled for Thursday, November 17th in, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Stockman’s Restaurant – Upstairs Meeting Room, 1175 Pier View Drive in Idaho Falls.  Cost is $13 for members, $15 for non-members, or $5 for Lemonade & Learn (no lunch).
