Media Job Opening: Account Executive

The Idaho Business Review has an opening for an Account Executive to join their advertising and sales staff.

Below is an excerpt of the job description that was sent to us recently:

We are seeking an advertising sales representative who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a strong urgency for goal achievement.

The account executive must have the creativity to always be thinking of new ways to sell. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with media in the State of Idaho, and keep their knowledge of business dealings and the economic markets consistently up to date.

This position is responsible for business development through cold calling, client account management, creating and conducting sales presentations. The successful candidate shall follow and be responsible for the sale from initial client meeting to invoicing, adhering to deadlines and completing tasks in a timely manner.
