New Hire at CLM

CLM in Boise added to their staff recently. Brian Evancic joined the shop as their newest Art Director.

From the news on CLM’s website:

After growing up on the east coast, Brian Evancic relocated to the Treasure Valley and began experiencing the finer things in life (e.g. camping, hiking, grilling, fly fishing, etc.) After a short stint of employment at a nuclear power plant, Brian began honing his design, photography, and filmmaking skills. Before landing at CLM, Brian picked up a BFA from Boise State and worked for seven years in the design, marketing, and advertising industries.

Congratulations Brian.

New Hire at SOVRN Creative

SOVRN Creative is growing once again, this time with the addition of Nicole Cahill to their staff as a graphic designer.

Nicole is a recent graduate of Boise State University, with a BFA in Design. From her bio on the SOVRN website:

Nicole comes to SOVRN fresh out of Boise State University where she recently graduated with a BFA in Design. Not only does Nicole have a great eye, but her designs always have a strategic conceptual basis. When not immersed in the world of graphic art, Nicole likes to make extravagant cakes, attend music festivals and indulge her love of candy. She also has a passion for working with adults with disabilities, a job she did all through college.

Congratulations Nicole.

Ritter PR on the move

Ritter Public Relations has set up shop in the Hoff Building in downtown Boise. According to their recently release, the move into the new office space coincides with a change in business model from that of a public relations consultant to a fully staffed, full service agency.

Clients include corporations, associations, government and non-profit organizations. The agency offers strategic counsel, media relations, social marketing, issues management, marketing support, public awareness and public involvement campaigns. Ritter PR offers particularly strong depth of knowledge and experience in education, health care, transportation and economic development.

Catching up on recent agency moves

It seems the agency folks are keeping moving companies busy around the Treasure Valley lately.  The most recent moves:

After a brief layover in a temporary space, Stoltz Marketing Group settled into their new office space in Suite 410 of the Cornerstone Building at 9th and River – 913 W. River St.

DaviesMoore has also found itself a new home, in Suite 300 of the 805 Idaho Building, on the corner of 8th and Idaho – 805 W. Idaho St.

And as is usually the case, I’m sure both shops will find random boxes that need to be unpacked for the next year or two…

[disclosure – by day I can be found at Stoltz Marketing Group]

New Hire at Mitchell + Palmer

Mitchell + Palmer continues to make moves and show some momentum. Most recently, they announced that they’ve added Kourtney Flaherty to their staff as Production Manager.

Prior to joining Mitchell + Palmer Kourtney spent several years with Oliver Russell, and was most recently E-Communications Manager at Treasure Valley Family YMCA.

Congratulations Kourtney.
