Ignite Boise 8

Ignite Boise

Mark your calendars — Ignite Boise 8 is coming up on Thursday, April 19th, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise.

Ignite BoiseDoors open to ticket holders at 6:00 p.m., and general admission begins at 6:30. More details on tickets will be available soon.

And if you’ve ever thought about getting up on stage and presenting, stop thinking about it and go submit your idea as soon as they open it up for submissions.

Ignite Boise 6

The 6th edition of Ignite Boise hits the town on Thursday, April 21st at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise.  Doors open to advance ticket holders at 6:00 p.m. (sorry, all tickets have been scooped up), and to the general public at 6:30.  Everything on stage kicks off at 7:00.

If you’ve been to an Ignite Boise event in the past, you have a fairly good idea of what to expect, although from my experience, each one is just different enough to keep them interesting.  If you’ve never been to one, however, now’s as good of a time as any to start.

Don’t miss it.

Ignite Boise 3: Proposals Due

Time is running out.

If you’ve been reading the Idaho Ad Agencies blog for any time, you know that we’ve covered the previous two Ignite Boise events.  And Ignite Boise 3 will be no exception.

But before we can tell you all about the event, you’ll have to do your part and submit your speaker proposal.

It’s not tough to do.  Just a short paragraph that covers what you’d like to speak about.  No slides are due at this point — just an idea.  If selected, then comes the work of putting together the full presentation.

But don’t wait.  Submissions for Ignite Boise 3 are due by 5:00pm on Friday, October 9th.

Upcoming Event – Ignite Boise

Ignite Boise has been in the works for a few months, and the event is finally upon us.

What is Ignite Boise, you ask? Well, in a nutshell:

Ignite Boise is a 3 hour-ish idea feeding frenzy that brings together artists, geeks, entrepreneurs, academics, government officials, and others to share their ideas in fast-paced, bite-sized presentations. It’s a great opportunity to meet smart, interesting people (if we do say so ourselves) and maybe even learn something.

The presenters have all been selected, the venue set, and 600 or so tickets have already been reserved.

But if you didn’t get a ticket already, there’s still hope: Those who have reserved tickets for the event will be allowed in starting at 5:00 on the evening of the event, and public (general) admission begins at 5:30. So if you have a ticket, be sure to get there early. If not, have faith, and there will likely be room for more.

All the details you might need about the event:

Date: Thursday, March 19th
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
– Seating for reserved ticket holders begins at 5:00 pm
– Public admission begins at 5:30 pm
Location: Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St, Boise ID
