Award Winners in Northern Idaho

The Spokane Advertising Federation held their 2009 ADDY Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 6th, and among the winners were several from Northern Idaho.

Blue541:
4 Silver ADDY Awards, 1 Honorable Mention

Hanna & Associates:
6 Gold ADDY Awards, 11 Silver ADDY Awards, 4 Honorable Mentions

Imagination Graphics:
1 Honorable Mention

Salty Design Foundry:
Designer’s Chair, Best of Division, 3 Gold ADDY Awards, 3 Silver ADDY Awards, 4 Honorable Mentions

Student Award:
Grant Hoki, North Idaho College
Honorable Mention

Congratulations to all of the award winners. A full list of winners from the club (which could very likely include some Idaho shops that I’ve missed) is available via the Spokane Ad Fed’s website.

Cleaning Up up North

For those who may have missed it, the Spokane Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards Show was last Friday. And among the entrants were a number of agencies from Northern Idaho.

And, as Rick Thomas from The Coeur d’Alene Press wrote, “Local ad agencies rake in awards.”

Boy did they ever.

Here’s a quick run-down:

Salty Design Foundry won 17 Silver ADDYs, 5 Gold ADDYs, as well as Judges Choice and Best in Division.
Blue541 won a total of 14 ADDYs, including a Gold in Industry Self Promotion for their interactive Christmas card.
Range won 5 ADDYs, including 1 Gold.

As soon as I can get my hands on the complete list of winners, I’ll be sure to share it with the class.

Spokane Ad Fed – ADDY Awards Show

While I suspect that those up in Northern Idaho are already well aware of this, the Spokane Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards Show is this Friday, March 7th, at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane.

The Spokane Ad Fed includes members from Northern Idaho as well as Eastern Washington.
