Idaho Falls Advertising Federation

Earlier this month the Idaho Falls Advertising Federation held their annual GEM Awards, recognizing outstanding work throughout eastern Idaho.

The GEM Awards are broken down into three levels:

  1. First place: Diamond
  2. Second place: Idaho Star Garnet
  3. Third place: Opal

New Hire at North by Northwest

North by Northwest in Boise has added Chuck Hurst to their Boise team as an Associate Producer.

Formerly the owner of C. Hurst Digital Media, he has worked on such large-scale television projects as NBC’s “Baby Borrowers” and the Travel Channel’s “Man Vs. Food” as well as the independent feature “Three of a Kind.”

Hurst graduated from the University of Idaho in 2005 and has since been working on North By Northwest projects on a freelance basis.

Call for Nominations: Silver Medal Award

Update: The deadline for nominations has been extended to Friday, March 16th.

Nominations are now being accepted by the Idaho Advertising Federation for the Silver Medal Award:

The AAF Silver Medal Award is presented annually by the Idaho Advertising Federation to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to advertising by furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence, and responsibilities in areas of social concern.

Questions about the Silver Medal Award or the nomination process should be directed to Bob Rosenthal at Cumulus Media.
