New hires at Oliver Russell

Oliver Russell recently announced that they’ve added a few new folks to their team: Rebecca Mulkey as a studio designer, Morgan Rider as business development director, and Heidy Caruso as an account manager.

Rebecca Mulkey recently relocated to Boise from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has experience creating visual identity for stationary, advertisements and marketing collateral. She honed her eye for design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.

Morgan Rider will spearhead Oliver Russell’s new business opportunities from Portland, Oregon, She was previously with Grady Britton, and serves as a board member on both The Climate Trust and The Wetlands Conservancy.

Heidy Caruso returned to the agency world after most recently serving as a client services manager at MarkMonitor. A graduate of University of Idaho, she spent several years with Drake Cooper, and KTVB prior to that.

New hire at Carew Co.

The folks over at Carew Co. have added a new face to their growing team. Aaron Kvarfordt, recent graduate of Boise State University, joined the crew as a Graphic Designer.

Rockie Awards – The Winners

For those who might have missed the show in April, the Boise Advertising Federation recently published the complete list of winners from this year’s Rockie Awards.

Of the 429 entries, 123 were recognized at various levels – Gold, Silver, or Citation. Gold winners were automatically forwarded to the AAF District 11 competition.

Notables from this year’s show: Drake Cooper won Best of Show for their 18 Summers campaign, Duft Watterson took Gold in 8 of the 16 categories, and Christal Gammill was this year’s recipient of the Idaho Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award.

A quick spin around recent new hire news

Rizen Creative recently added graphic designer Jacey Arnzen as a Graphic Designer. She’s a recent graduate of the University of Idaho, with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a minor in Art.

Stoltz Marketing Group recently added Cameron Murray to their team as a Senior Copywriter. A graduate of San Diego State University and The Book Shop School for Ads, he has worked for notable west coast agencies including Gallegos United, GS&P and 2018 Small Agency of the Year, BSSP.

At Red Sky, they’ve added recent graduate Sophia Maupin to their team.
