Production Artist

How good are you at bringing things to life? Do you need a castle and lots of wires and a lightning storm? Or can you pretty much do everything with a Mac? We’re looking for a killer production artist with proven experience. Someone who has mad attention to detail, and can keep their head when things in the lab don’t go as planned. Strong typographic and layout skills are a must and outstanding organizational skills are a given. Lab coat and goggles not required.

Oliver Russell in Boise has a handful of openings at the moment, including:

Producer

We’re looking to hire a purpose-oriented all-star to complement and strengthen our team as we grow our roster of clients that currently stretches from Silicon Valley to Singapore to the Smithsonian. We’re on the hunt for a Producer to join our team and to provide a necessary conduit between the account group and the rest of the agency. Along with having a passion for all things creative, we expect you to have an outgoing, motivated personality and be willing to bring your unique style to the table.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Guiding projects from initial client conversations through completion and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Managing the day-to-day account relationship with clients
  • Developing and managing production schedules and estimates for client projects
  • Gathering and assembling background information for strategic planning, creative brief development, etc.
  • Helping provide project strategy
  • Providing logistical support for, running, and documenting client meetings and calls
  • Trafficking projects between account and creative teams
  • Proofreading copy and artwork
  • Compiling and relaying client feedback to the creative team
  • Assisting with proposals

Senior Designer / Art Director

You’ll need to be strong in developing a concept and able to implement it as well—we are a small and flat organization. (You should also be comfortable getting dirty on a volunteer project to rebuild trails in the Boise Foothills or helping rearrange furniture to accommodate a speaker’s event in the office. We’re a collaborative place, we work hard, and there’s no job too big or small for anyone.)

Job opening: Junior Art Director

Foerstel Design is looking for a Junior Art Director to join their team. From the job listing on their website:

We are on a mission, searching the globe (actually just Idaho) for a group of rockin’ teens with crazy cool ideas. We’re looking for high schoolers from all over Idaho to help ideate and generate content for a YouTube series. The series – “Buck The Quo” – follows Chris, our host, as he discovers the not so typical, super awesome life paths that await teens after high school.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to weekly “challenges” and send video/photo content back to Buck The Quo headquarters.

Project Manager – Part Time Contract

You already are a leader, a team builder, and a motivator. You are also articulate and strategic. You are a fundamentally sensitive person who stands up to bullies without being one. You have an empathetic understanding of the consumer as well as the ability to be a bulldog for our creative team to meet the objectives of our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You are the internal and external brand champion, Team Captain of Crack the Whip to stay on the brand message and client goals
  • Lead the team through the full production process, from concept, to pre-production, production, execution, and analytic wrap-up
  • Dominate the research, interpret analytics and watch industry trends to keep client strategy and goals within reach and measurable
  • Anticipate, troubleshoot and prevent production delays
  • Collaborate to define project strategy, message and scope. Create and track budgets and project plans, write briefs, reconcile hour tracking, POs, and invoices from project beginning to end. You are Quality Control.
  • Grease the wheels for creative and media collateral for review, revisions, and approval
