He is Vice President of strategic planning at Mediassociates, a leading media planning and digital strategy agency; is co-founder of eEffective, a digital advertising demand-side platform network; and is also a frequent columnist at Bloomberg Businessweek, where he writes national columns on the intersection of advertising and technology.

The Boise Advertising Federation is presenting its first guest speaker of the 2012/2013 season on Thursday, November 29th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Paul Matthaeus, founder, chief creative officer Digital Kitchen®

After spending 15 years in the ad agency business, Paul Matthaeus founded Digital Kitchen® in 1995 with the mission to apply entertainment principles to brands–and in turn–branding principles to entertainment. With training in photography, filmmaking and advertising and marketing communications–Matthaeus aimed to advance broader experimentation and creativity in full-motion electronic media (digital filmmaking), leveraged with an uncommon faculty for strategic marketing.

Cocktails and Creativity — with Kevin Brady of Droga5

Kevin Brady, Group Creative Director at Droga5, headlines the final Boise Advertising Federation event of the season, this Thursday, May 24th (yes, today) starting at 5:30 p.m.

The event will be held at Beside Bardenay on Grove Street in downtown Boise, and also includes a special presentation of the district ADDY award winners by the AAF.

Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non members.
