Milestones

A handful of shops have celebrated notable milestones recently, including…

10 Years

Red Sky and SOVRN both marked 10 years in business earlier this year.

Red Sky chronicled their past decade in this infographic.

While SOVRN celebrated their anniversary with a block party that included a $10K giveaway.

20 Years

DaviesMoore recently crossed the 20 year mark, and chronicled the journey here – 20 Years on the AgenSea, and with this video.

40 Years

Not to be left out, Drake Cooper — the elder statesman of the group — celebrated their 40th anniversary with an event at Cinder Wines.

Some recent moves and new hires of late:

Christina Hirsch recently joined DaviesMoore as an Account Executive.

Over at Foerstel Design, Katy Kithcart and Greg Montemurro have joined the team as Junior Art Director and Art Director, respectively.

Elsewhere, Drake Cooper looks to be once again flirting with the 50-employee mark, based on a quick count of DC’ers on their site.

2018 Rockie Awards Show

The 2018 Rockie Awards Show was a raucous and rowdy affair as usual, and good times were had all around.

A few notables from Saturday night’s event:

The Silver Medal Award went to Sherie Moody-St. Clair from the Idaho Lottery

Drake Cooper took home Best of Show for their J. A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation work.

Oliver Russell and Scentsy both won at the regional level as well — a Gold regional ADDY for Oliver Russell and a Silver for Scentsy. Oliver Russell’s submission has since been forwarded to the national competition.

Congratulations to all the winners.

Boomerang

Back in 2008 we wrote about Jeremy Chase’s departure from Drake Cooper and impending move to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jeremy ChaseSince then, he went on to broaden his experience with the creative agency Struck, and over 10 years honed his travel and tourism chops with clients like the Utah Office of Tourism, Experience Scottsdale, Catalina Island Company, CMH Heli Ski, Ski Utah, Snowbird, and Sundance. He also was a public speaker and presenter at state, regional and national industry events.

Fast-forward to today, and things have come full circle.

Last month, Jeremy returned to where it all began, and rejoined Drake Cooper as VP of Client Services. In his new role he leads the client services team and collaborates with clients to plan work focused on strategy and results.

Fittingly enough, his first day back at Drake Cooper — Groundhog Day.

Welcome home, Jeremy.
