We’re looking for a good-natured, hard-charging mid-level/senior account manager.
We’re Duft Watterson, an Ad Age Agency of The Year and Outside Magazine Best Places to Work agency, headquartered in Boise, with people in Portland and Bend. We’re on the hunt for an account manager to join our forward-leaning team of marketing writers, artists, strategists and digital natives.
Saturday evening, The Rockies happened. As an in-person event. Outdoors.
There was sun, and rain, and wind, and even some lightning in the distance. But Idaho spring weather aside, much credit to the Boise Advertising Federation and Idaho Advertising Federation for pulling off the show, making it comfortable for those who attended in person, and for offering a livestream for those that chose to watch from afar.
Following the Rockies judging, all Gold winners are automatically forwarded to competition at the regional level, and Silver award winners had the option of forwarding their entries as well. Among those receiving ADDY Awards at the regional level were:
Silver ADDY Porter Pro Media Bison Boys, Bison Boys Trailer
Gold ADDY Drake Cooper Drake Cooper, 100% Employee Owned
Regional ADDY Best of Show Against Payette Brewing Company, Payette Can Redesign
People in the agency business come and go on a regular basis. For any number of reasons. While the trends may not be as pronounced locally as they are at a national level, it certainly happens.
But every once in a while there’s a departure that makes us stand up and take notice. In recent months, there have been two.
In late November, Marc Cowlin exited his role as VP of Content and Digital Marketing at Duft Watterson, and in doing so effectively shuttered the shop’s San Francisco presence. A little digging around LinkedIn in the weeks that followed revealed that he is now with BlueOwl, a San Francisco-based technology company.
Duft Watterson is looking to add to their team. They currently have openings for an Account Manager and a Director of Growth. From the respective job listings:
