Account Coordinators make things happen. They own all of the logistics of an account with scheduling, file sharing and responsive communication to client calls and emails. They work across functional teams shepherding client requests through the agency. The Account Coordinator ensures things are accurate and organized, and a successful Account Coordinator is the foundation for a successful client relationship.

Responsible for:

  • Creating client meeting agendas and scheduling, creating notes, and ensuring communication occurs with internal teams
  • Understanding the client’s key business objectives and scope of engagement
  • Timely acknowledgement of client requests
  • Transferring client requests into tasks/projects
  • Meeting deadlines internally and externally
  • Partnering with Project Managers to manage internal workflow of client work through the agency
  • Becoming fluent with Drake Cooper processes, tools and systems
  • Building internal relationships across functional teams
  • Keeping attuned to client relationship health
  • Learning our client industries and categories
  • Learning all facets of Drake Cooper offerings

Account Coordinator

Account Coordinators make things happen. They are a support role of the Client Services team shepherding client requests through the agency. Their realm is the CX Engagement phase, relying on their communication skills to ensure things are accurate and organized. Account Coordinators are exposed to many kinds of clients and need, and use that experience to build a foundation to work within the Client Services team.

Account Manager

You already are a leader, a team builder, and a motivator. You are also articulate and strategic. Ruling the playground is kind of what this job is all about. You have an empathetic understanding of the consumer as well as the ability to be a bulldog for our creative team to meet the objectives of our clients. Account Managers are vital to Drake Cooper. Their CX focus is on day-to-day engagement, ensuring communication is clear and efficient between both agency and client. They also work collaboratively with internal teams to keep projects on schedule and moving forward. While Account Managers will work in a support role on the agency’s largest engagements, they also will gain practical experience by leading defined client engagements.

Account Director

The Account Director is the agency’s lead Client Experience (CX) Architect, responsible for the strategy of DC’s clients and ensuring they are profitable. An Account Director is responsible for leading a group of accounts, managing a specific account team who runs those accounts, and ensuring clients are receiving great work and great service.

Account Directors are Jedi-masters of relationships, senior leaders and possess experience developing and managing multi-disciplinary engagements. The Account Director is responsible for delivering kick ass creative work that meets the client’s business needs and solves their business problems. They serve to mentor and develop client services team members, enabling them to learn and grow. Account Directors play an active role in business development, with both organic growth on their accounts plus working with agency leadership to respond and lead RFPs and pitches.

Position Description

The content marketing/account coordinator will integrate with the entire agency, but you’ll work directly with our Director of Content Marketing and Digital. You’ll help create engaging content, run campaigns focused on delivering brand awareness, improved search and audience conversions and coordinate/project manage projects across the entire agency.

The primary area of responsibility for this position is to provide support and coordination on the agency’s largest account. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness and organization with client activities, detail-oriented management, and professional communication with key client contacts as needed.

The individual who fills this position must be driven and exemplify strong leadership qualities, as well as fit into the agency’s established culture.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating workflow by coordinating or gathering background information and/or resources needed to complete jobs
  • Tracking and maintaining an organized schedule of all account jobs
  • Creating project timelines and making sure all work meets client deadlines
  • Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Supporting the account lead whenever necessary

Education and Training:

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing or relevant field. Needs to be able to manage a wide variety of tasks at one time with a strong emphasis on leadership.

In addition, applicants must:

  • Be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Display strong writing skills for assistance with copywriting when necessary
  • Be well organized and detail oriented
  • Have excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Maintain a professional appearance and persona
  • Perform while working long hours, especially under tight deadlines
  • Be able to handle pressure well
