Literally.
Drake Cooper’s latest work for the United Dairymen of Idaho broke in late January, as a series of :15 spots all about cheese, along with supporting billboards. The spots, which have been running for several weeks, can be seen below, or on Drake Cooper’s YouTube channel.
Joe Quatrone and Jennie Myers of Drake Cooper developed the concept, North by Northwest in Boise handled production, with food styling from Rebecca Robison.

I think these ads are okay. The lines aren’t killer, and it’s not super exciting that one of the TV spots is exactly the same as one of the billboards. The music and jumpy sound effects are a little annoying.
And the lighter-colored cheese board is quite hard to read outdoors.
That said, it’s a decent campaign assuming it was done in a short amount of time with little budget, as most projects seem to be these days. (For all of us.)
I would love to do a little horn blowing. Tri Digital Group, in Boise shot the recent stills for the cheese and the Kristin Armstrong campaign. It was a true pleasure to work with the great crew at Drake Cooper and United Dairymen of Idaho.
